One record for one exact APK
A published APK entry identifies its developer, purpose, version name/code, package, filename, exact bytes, publisher release date, Android/API minimum, permissions with explanations, SHA-256, signer reference, source, release notes, privacy policy and support path. File delivery is enabled only after the source-backed record and artifact agree.
Stage 1: source and artifact
Authenticate the publisher channel, retain the final download source and note the retrieval time. Keep the exact file associated with that observation. Record version name, version code, package, minimum Android and byte size from the artifact rather than copying a web table.
Stage 2: cryptographic identity
Calculate the file SHA-256 and inspect the APK signing identity. A valid signature structure is useful, but the signer must still be connected to an authentic reference. A file hash and a certificate fingerprint answer different questions.
apksigner verify --verbose --print-certs app.apkThis is an example Android SDK command, not evidence that a named app has been tested. It cannot decide that the publisher is trustworthy or the code is harmless.
Stage 3: observations
| Observation | Useful scope statement |
|---|---|
| Malware scan | Provider, timestamp, artifact and result reference; no permanent guarantee. |
| Installation | Named device, Android build and observed outcome. |
| Permissions | The tested flow and the requests actually observed. |
| Performance | Repeatable task, settings, conditions and measured result. |
| Network behaviour | Method and bounded observations, without claiming invisible behaviour was excluded. |
Stage 4: distribution decision
Technical identity does not establish distribution rights or legal availability. Evaluate the actual offered features and intended audience separately. A security check cannot be substituted for that decision.
Current work boundary
This edition researches public source records and implements original educational code. No external APK was supplied or inspected, and no deposit, withdrawal, RNG or account test was performed. Source-documented pages therefore say “listing documented”, not “verified APK”.
A correction should preserve the reasoning
If a release is reclassified, identify the new evidence and why the conclusion changes. Keep publisher statements separate from independently reproduced findings. Avoid changing only a date or replacing “unknown” with a green tick.
Sources and observation limits
Source observation edition: 22 October 2026. A listing observation is separate from an APK measurement. Review the exact file record for any offered release; availability and descriptions may change.
